His bite didn’t hurt that bad…

First off Happy Birthday to Bram Stoker. He is 165 today. Pretty old. If some of you out there don’t know who that is, he was a famous Irish novelist and short story writer in the 1800’s who wrote many works one such as Bram Stoker’s “Dracula’. His most famous. Minus his extreme creativity and love of Vampirism he seemed like a happy married guy with a child I think named Noel..

In other news.. happy Thursday! That is all for today :)

GO BACK TO DECEMBER
I remember a time when things were much simpler. A day when I could just wake up and feel good and think, today is just a normal typical day. Why can’t we go back to binkies and blankies. When kids were kids and grown ups were adults.
My 5 year old son is more worried about electronics and action figures to worry about his first year of kindergarden. I’m afraid if he blows off this year without a care and regards to his actions and conseqences, that he will have to redo kindergarten. Would that be the worst thing that could happen? To me personally I want him to succeed and CARE about everything that he is involved in, but thats not realistic! He is the youngest in his class and possibly one of the most childish in the class. I wish he would take it a little more seriously, but he does surprise me at times with things that he learned throughout the day and little tid bits of his day that were memorable. Things that he’s willing to share with me and give me a little insight at his day and what he’s doing. So thats good. Other days he comes home and has absolutely nothing to say about his day. Is that typical behavior? I’m very new to all this. I’m still in the learning process of realizing he is in KINDERGARTEN! It’s personally scary and makes me feel old! Not sure if I like that part of it yet, but I do love that he is learning and active and even if he doesn’t share his entire day with me and even sometimes none of his day, at least I can know with a clear concious that he is SO young and he will figure it out in time. :)
